We moved into our new house in Avondale Estates at the end of July, and I started back to school full-time the next week. To say that our house is still in a state of slight disarray would be a bit of an understatement. Luckily, parenthood has transformed Jonathan into my very own superman who can undertake all household chores and the moodswings of his pregnant wife without breaking a sweat. I'll post some pictures of our new house from the outside...check back for photos of the inside :)
This pregnancy is also changing our lives, and we will be welcoming Baby Bissmeyer the first part of April 2012. My due date is April Fool's Day! Oddly enough, this is also my granny's birthday, so it could be a nice little b-day present for her. Heather and I seem to like to have babies on other people's birthdays. You can thank us later. One positive from the first trimester of pregnancy that I have discovered is the change in wardrobe. Since this is my first pregnancy, I think I jumped the gun a bit with buying maternity clothes...I mean who doesn't dream of wearing elastic waistband jeans?! I might never give them up.
We look forward to sharing our experience with friends and family as we find our way through the joys and hardships of becoming parents. I'm pretty sure our life together is not exciting enough for a blog, but this seems more like a way for us to get our ideas, ramblings, worries, and excitements out there.
